PCPA
Primacy-Coupang Pathways Academy is an elementary education program tailored for internation students who recently arrived in Taiwan. Using an American curriculum, we help bridge the gaps in their education and keep moving forward during a transitional time in their lives.
Who is PCPA for?
New arrivals to Taiwan
When foreign students arrive mid-year, it can be difficult to find a school. PCPA offers a bridge and accepts students at anytime during the school year.
Foreign passport holders
PCPA can only accept foreign passport holders at this time.
Those applying to international schools
International schools in Taiwan only accept students at certain times of the year and can be very competitive. PCPA offers American curriculum and classes to bridge the gap.
COURES
Classes
PCPA classes offer the full range of elementary classes with American curriculum to help students reach their full potential.
English Classes
Students study English literature and writing at grade level using an American curriculum. Those who are ELL will get tailored scaffolding designed to help them reach the standards required.
Science & Math
Engaging projected based science, math and computer courses help students get ahead in an increasingly technology driven world.
Chinese Class
Living in Taiwan, students have a unique opportunity to became fluent in Mandarin. PCPA provides a Chinese class to help them achieve the basics.
Social Studies
Our social studies classes are designed to help students experience the topics through hands on activities and project-based learning.
Bible and Art
Engaging projected based science and computer courses help students get ahead in an increasingly technology driven world.
Physical Education
It’s important that students develop mind and body together and to that end students have a physical education period every day. Sometimes they do Zumba dance and other times they engage in various sports.
Field Trips
PCPA offers regular fun and educational field trips in the Taipei area. We also have activity days where students can experience a variety of fun activities in school, giving them a chance to take a break from the regular routine and learn things they wouldn’t learn in the classroom.
