House Happenings

Upon enrollment at Primacy students are placed into one of six different houses.  The houses are color coded and named after a mascot allowing each group to build identification.  The Primacy house system requires students of various ages and backgrounds to work together. Students are encouraged to make new friendships as they participate in sporting, academic and extracurricular events.  

Student leadership is valued at Primacy and the house system is certainly structured to give students the opportunity to learn how to lead.  Each house elects two senators. The senators promote, plan and assist in the execution of Student Association events. The development of student leaders is an important aspect of being a Primacy student.  House senators are coached and encouraged to develop these leadership skills through Primacy house programming.

The six house system at Primacy promotes a keen, but good natured rivalry between houses.  Houses complete through-out the year for points as they vie for the coveted Sullivan Cup. The Cup is awarded to the house that accumulates the most points over the course of the year.  The winning house demonstrates good leadership as well as the ability to work together as a team. Highly ranked universities value students who can demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and work as a member of a team.
